The balcony faced a huge tree where squirrels chased each other and birds sang. The well-appointed room was 42 sq metres (larger than my Hong Kong flat), allowing exercise even before getting access to the garden (a lap around the room took 50 steps). I chose this hotel for my mandatory 14-day quarantine because it offered garden-facing rooms with a balcony and the ability to book a daily 45-minute walk in the garden during the second week - and I wasnt disappointed. Overall, the 14-days quarantine was like a staycation with a garden view except freedom deprived. Three tests were done during the stay so three times walking out of the room to enjoy the little open air. Able to stream movies without any problems. Supplies including extra water, tea bags, sugar, towels, shampoo. Hotel staff were very helpful and attentive. It however proved to be a bad choice as the floodgate of mosquitoes influx was opened. One of the selling points of the hotel was the balcony. Healthcare products were offered free to consume during the stay to boost immunity. Hotel staff was able to entertain our fruits preference. Fresh salad and fruits were served three times a day with the meal. There was not necessary to order any outside food delivery. The room we chose was 74sq.m, very spacious for a lockdown. These strict hygiene arrangements were welcomed. Staff disinfected our baggages before bringing into the hotel premises. Shoes were put in plastic bags to be hand-carried to room.
Upon arrival, the hotel offered us slippers to change at the entrance to curb spread of possible virus or disease, if any.
