Film tersebut awalnya diberi judul Jaan, kemudian diubah menjadi Meri Jeet kemudian Jeet dan kemudian Satwa Asmaan, sebelum Deol menetapkan judul Barsaat. Film tersebut disutradarai oleh Rajkumar Santoshi. Barsaat (Indonesia: Hujan) adalah sebuah film percintaan Hindi 1995 yang merupakan debut dari Bobby Deol (putra dari aktor veteran Dharmendra) dan Twinkle Khanna (putri dari aktor Rajesh Khanna).Incidentally, after 10 years, Deol worked in a 2005 film of the same name. Both Deol and Khanna won the Filmfare Awards in the Best Debut categories. The movie was initially titled Jaan, later changed to Meri Jeet, then Jeet and then Satwa Asmaan, before the Deols settled on Barsaat. The film was directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. Barsaat (English: Rain) is a 1995 Indian Hindi romantic action film, which was the debut of Bobby Deol (son of veteran actor Dharmendra) and Twinkle Khanna (daughter of late actor Rajesh Khanna).
